LED mirror is a new type of mirror product, which is different from the traditional mirror in terms of the material of the glass. The glass used in LED mirror is mainly as follows:

1. Ordinary glass, also known as tempered glass, is a stronger glass material. The advantage of using more ordinary glass is its lower cost, simple production, and the surface of the glass is relatively smooth, not easy to produce scratches, as well as strong antioxidant capacity.

2. Anti-glare glass refers to a kind of glass whose surface has undergone special treatment. It uses a specific coating and special molding processing technology, which can reduce the mirror reflection, reduce the intensity of light reflection, so that the lighting effect is more uniform. Therefore, when using LED mirrors, anti-glare glass will be more popular than ordinary glass.

3. Anti-radiation glass, refers to the glass surface to add certain metal oxides or anionic materials, so that it can absorb ultraviolet rays, infrared rays and other electromagnetic waves, to achieve the purpose of anti-radiation. This type of glass is suitable for different outdoor environments, and can provide effective protection against UV damage to the mirror.

4. Coated glass, also known as metal film glass, is a treatment that adds a thin film of metal oxide to the surface of the glass. The metal film reflects and absorbs specific wavelengths of light, inhibits light transmission and reflection, and gives the glass features such as thermal control and privacy protection.

Our LED mirrors use copper-free mirrors to prevent the mirrors from reflecting green after oxidization, and silver plating is added to the back to enable clear imaging.

The thickness of the glass used in the mirrors also varies, generally 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm and other specifications. The exact thickness of glass chosen depends on the purpose, size and quality requirements of the mirror. Generally, larger sized mirrors require thicker glass, while mirrors for private home use are usually made of thinner 3mm-5mm glass.

Our LED bathroom mirrors are relatively large and usually use 4mm or 5mm thick glass, while desktop vanity mirrors write can choose 3mm glass.

Overall, different glass materials have their own advantages. When applying LED mirrors, users can choose the right one for their needs.
