The origin of International Labor Day in China:
Labor Day first originated from the workers' strike movement in Chicago, USA in 1886. In 1889, Engels proposed to establish May 1, the date of the American workers' strike, as May Day. After the founding of New China, the Central People's Government designated May 1 as the legal Labor Day. The establishment of Labor Day is to commemorate the working people through the struggle for their legitimate rights and interests, our company also take a five-day holiday, to express gratitude to the workers for their hard work.
