This week's sharing session was a bit different. The speaker was from our engineering team, and the audience was our sales team.
The topic was also very specific: how to answer when a customer asks, "Why is your mirror more expensive than others?" The engineering team broke it down into real cost drivers - differences in CRI, surface finishing costs, and the material impact of waterproof ratings. Every point corresponds to value that customers can actually feel, not just vague claims of "better quality."
The sales team listened closely, and the engineering team explained clearly. This wasn't just a training session - it was a cross‑departmental conversation. Let those who understand the product explain its value, so those who talk to customers can do so with confidence.
Good products come from teams that truly understand them.
