There are many types of LED light strips utilized in LED mirror lights, which can be of the following types

 

Classified by color
1. Single color LED strip: single color temperature lamp beads only emit a color of light, such as warm white or cool white. Single color but good purity. Easy to operate, no need to adjust the color temperature, only need to control the brightness and switch to use the lighting mirror. But can not adjust the color temperature, color performance is more fixed.

2. Dual color temperature LED strip: dual color temperature lamp beads refers to the combination of two different color temperature lamp beads, usually warm white light and cold white light. By controlling the proportion of light emitted by the two color temperature lamp beads, the color temperature of the light can be flexibly adjusted. Dual color temperature LED light-emitting mirror light by adjusting the LED light source in the light, color flexibility is higher, can easily cope with the light adjustment required for daily use.

3. Tri-color temperature (or full color) LED light strip: usually refers to RGBWW lights, combining red, green, blue (RGB) and two different color temperatures of white light (WW, Warm White and Cool White). The color and color temperature can be adjusted in a great range, creating a rich variety of lighting effects with the highest color flexibility. It is suitable for bathroom scenes with high creative demand, projects with sufficient budget, and especially for scenes that require a variety of color expressions. However, the design is relatively complex, need to adjust a variety of colors and color temperature combinations, usually equipped with an intelligent control system, convenient for customers to use.

In addition, different mirror lighting needs, the use of lamp beads are also different.
The LED light bar brightness requirement for bathroom lighting mirrors is usually high to ensure that users can get enough lighting when using the mirror. Therefore, the number of lamp beads will affect the brightness of the light bar to some extent. The number of lamp beads is positively correlated with the brightness, and the more LED lamp beads in the same unit, the brighter the strip is usually. For example, two one-meter-long light strips, one of which has 126 beads and the other has 140 beads, the latter will be brighter than the former.

Determinants of the number of beads


1. Strip length: the length of the LED strip will directly affect the number of beads. Generally speaking, the longer the strip is, the more beads are required.


2. Power and energy consumption: the number of lamp beads is also related to power and energy consumption. Under the condition of keeping the brightness unchanged, increasing the number of lamp beads may reduce the power of each lamp bead, thus reducing energy consumption. But this also depends on the specific LED chip and circuit design.


3. Cost budget: Cost budget is also an important factor in determining the number of lamp beads. High-quality LED lamp beads are usually more expensive, so you need to meet the brightness requirements under the premise of reasonable control of the number of lamp beads to reduce costs.

For scenes with lower brightness requirements on bathroom lighting mirrors, the number of LED light bar beads may be around 80 per meter. For scenes that require higher brightness, such as makeup, shaving and other fine operations, the number of beads in the LED strip may increase to 120 per meter or even more.
