On September 17, 2021, Bifort, China's first space-class memory controller chip, was officially released at the Shenzhen Optical Expo. The chip is jointly designed and independently developed by EXA Tech and Xi 'an Institute of Microelectronics Technology. It adopts the astronaut-class SSD storage controller chip framework structure and has advantages of multiple interfaces, irradiation resistance and high reliability. It is suitable for high-reliability and large-capacity data storage applications in space missions. Provide intelligent information system for spacecraft to provide solutions, and strive to build space data center.

Hosted the event by EXA Tech and deep representative Lv Yu venture capital investment, long optical satellite satellite model the total teacher xiao-jun he future, star test co-founder CangJiRong, xi 'an institute of microelectronics, deputy chief engineer Liu Xi attended give excellent sharing, shenzhen east is red, hk d storage, and a micro storage enterprise representatives as a guest to attend the conference. At the same time, EXA Tech also announced the signing of strategic cooperation with Star Test Future and the establishment of advanced storage and sealed test technology joint RESEARCH and development center with Xi 'an Institute of Microelectronics Technology (771 Institute).

EXA Tech: Dedicated to become a space information infrastructure provider

In recent years, with the global competition for space orbit resource increasingly into the white-hot, China has accelerated the layout of the remote sensing and Internet constellation constellation, spike in the number of satellite orbit, also improve the demand for satellite booming manufacture, intelligent building, spatial data, especially the real-time, effectiveness and security of the remote sensing data requirements are particularly urgent.

COO Wang Wei, co-founder of EXA Tech, believes that data is the carrier of human civilization. As human beings step into the space age, the ability to save, manage and process data in the space environment becomes more and more important. EXA Tech focuses on large-capacity satellite storage system technology, provides intelligent information system solutions for spacecraft operating in space environment, builds space data center, and is committed to becoming the most important space information infrastructure provider in China in the future.

China's first space-class memory controller chip has been officially released

Liu Di, co-founder of EXA Tech and CPO, announced the official release of Bifort, China's first highly reliable irradiation-resistant SSD controller chip for aerospace applications. The chip adopts the aerospace SSD storage controller chip framework structure, including PCIeGen2x4/SATA3 two host interfaces, the back end is equipped with six independent NAND Flash control channels, with multi-interface, radiation resistance, high reliability and other advantages, support ceramic SEAL B, military plastic seal N1 and general industrial grade three specifications. It is suitable for high reliability and large capacity data storage applications in space missions.

At the same time, Mr. Shuida, general manager of EXA Tech Solutions Business Division, introduced the solutions of Intelligent Payload (IPL) based on the performance problems of on-board storage, on-board computing and data transmission, and the ways of cooperation between enterprises. "IPL integrates data acquisition, storage, data management, in-orbit computing and space-earth transmission. It can dock with both traditional main sensor data and satellite platform data to meet the requirements of in-orbit verification and debugging of satellites. At present, it has been adapted to a number of satellite overall units to meet the requirements of satellite intelligence.

Industrial cooperation helps China's commercial space industry

At this press conference, Star Test Future and EXA Tech held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony. The two sides announced that they would jointly create an integrated solution of on-board edge high performance computing and large capacity storage, and provide on-orbit data compression and intelligent constellation operation efficiency optimization services for upstream satellite manufacturers. Provide on-board real-time services for downstream government and enterprise customers in combination with national defense, emergency response, finance and other application scenarios. Regarding the cooperation, Cang Jirong, co-founder of Star Test Future, expressed the hope that through the strategic cooperation with EXA Tech, we can further optimize technology and product services, comprehensively improve the intelligence level of China's satellite industry, and help upgrade satellite application services.

At the meeting, the "Advanced Storage and Sealed Test Technology Joint RESEARCH and development Center" sponsored by Xi 'an Microelectronics Technology Institute (771 Institute) and EXA Tech was officially launched. The two sides will further carry out technology research and development and industrial cooperation to promote the development of aerospace electronics industry. At the same time, Liu Xi, deputy chief engineer and researcher of 771 Institute, He Xiaojun, chief engineer of Changguang Satellite model, and Lv Yu, representative of Shenzhen Venture Capital gave wonderful speeches on the theme of commercial spaceflight respectively. The guests expressed that EXA Tech has great development potential as a high-quality enterprise in the field of commercial spaceflight. In the future, the cooperation with EXA Tech in commercial aerospace will continue to deepen.

Finally, Wang Wei said that the official release of the Bifort chip indicates that EXA Tech has taken an important step in the commercial aerospace field, and looks forward to exchanges and cooperation with colleagues and institutions in the industry. At the same time, EXA Tech will launch a new round of financing needs, and it is expected to dilute 10% of the shares to raise 40 million yuan, so as to strengthen the capacity building in the IPL field. In the next decade, EXA Tech will spare no effort to build space data centers and contribute to China's space information infrastructure.

Axa Technology:

EXA Tech, founded in 2018, focuses on large-capacity satellite storage system technology, providing intelligent information system solutions for spacecraft operating in the space environment, and is one of the important providers of future space information infrastructure.

The company enables satellite manufacturing through data center-level storage array technology and chip-based capabilities, and provides satellite intelligent payload solutions to meet the needs of space information processing such as storage, calculation and transmission of in-orbit data. The product performance is in the world's leading level and is widely recognized and used by national satellite units and commercial satellite companies.
