From August 2026, the EU new packaging regulation (PPWR) is expected to introduce stricter requirements -including recycle-ability, reduced packaging waste, and proper documentation. For exporters, this means packaging is becoming a compliance issue, not just a logistics one.
But there's another side to it.
Packaging compliance can also be a competitive advantage. If you can provide your European customers with packaging data, recyclable materials, and optimized box sizes, you're saving them time, cost, and regulatory headaches. That makes you a more valuable supplier.
